VC Performance Rigging & J/22 NAs
The organizing committee of the 2003 J/22 North American Championships is proud to announce that VC Performance Rigging, Annapolis, MD, has joined our team as a sponsor-partner. VC Performance Rigging has established themselves as one of the premier rigging shops for the most competitive sailors. They provide custom rigging services for highly competitive classes such as the J/22 and J/24, as well as equipment for larger boats like the Farr 40 and Grand Prix Offshore racers.
The North Americans will be held at the Youngstown Yacht Club during the last week of June. Youngstown is at the western end of Lake Ontario and is well known for their good breezes and excellent hospitality. Youngstown was one of the first clubs in North America to host a large multi class "Level Regatta." That event now draws 350-400 boats annually. Youngstown last hosted the J/22 North Americans in 1995.
VC Performance Rigging will be on-site with their mobile rigging shop to provide products and services for the J/22 competitors. They have previously supported the J/22 World Championships, and Youngstown was eager to get them on board as a sponsor-partner.
This winter you saw VC Performance Rigging at the J/22 Midwinter Championship in New Orleans. They were also on-site at the J/24 Mid Winters, Key West Race Week and SORC to help those competitors.
